Awesome Sporting Weekend!
Ok ok lets start with the UCT vs Paarl in the finals, it was an epic match that almost ending in dismay for UCT. We started the match in fine style totally doninating Paarl, we ran in three quick tries in the first 15 min. The host replyed with a two tries and a pently kick before the half. Making the score 19 - 15 to UCT. The second half was a tremendous battle Paarl scored the fisrt try and convered making the score 22 - 19 to Paarl. In the the deaths of the match, UCT gathered enough "Awesomeness" to score one more try off a perferctly crafted set piece making the final score 22 - 24 to the Boys in Blue. Well done!!!
Results!
As you well know the semi-finals was played Friday past.. First half the Babrows trailed 3 points to zero. After a tongue lashing for the coach, the guys came out and truly showed what we were made of, running in a try off the kick off. Greg kept the scored board ticking over. In the final minute the last try was scored, the game ended in a 18-3 win for the Babrows!!
